Dr. Kelly Koetters was born and raised in Quincy, IL with kittens, dogs, prairie dogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and a cockatiel. She experienced farm life vicariously through family and learned about cattle, sheep, goats, and horses. In college, she took an internship at the Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingleton, CA. She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in Pomona, CA.
She lives with her husband and 2 children, plus any pets she can fit in her life. Her interests are reading, baking, and bikes. She would like to focus on client education as well as spay, neuter and rescue work.
